Day 8 - Maha Gauri - Purple
It is all about the regal and powerful shade of purple, symbolizing wisdom, creativity, royalty, ambition, and luxury. Mahagauri worshiped on the eighth day of Navratri, has four arms and wields a trident. She represents kindness and morality, riding a white bull and appearing as a nine-year-old goddess. Parvati, after defeating all the demons, had her skin darken, earning the nickname 'Kali' from Lord Shiva. She desired to regain her fair complexion, so she underwent severe penance and sought guidance from Brahma. Brahma advised her to bathe in the Holy Mansarovar River, which restored her white complexion and beauty. She became known as Mahagauri, signifying extreme fairness
